i am finally in the world of iPhone users and let me just say it is fantastic. I have finally gotten to evaluate it from my own perspective and let me say that is indeed a great investment. It does everything it is supposed to and more:)

I would like to say thanks to my beautiful, amazing fiance, Jackie, for it is she who blessed me with it. She is truly an amazing lady and I am honored to be marrying her on November 9th!

So Tired I Can't Sleep

Have you ever been so tired you can't sleep? That's what I am now. I just finished painting my new apartment that Jackie and I will be living in after we get married, www.BrianAndJackie.org and I am exhausted. But it's a good exhausted... the kind of tired that makes you reflect on your life and where it's going....

I am happy about where my life is going, but not because of anything I have been, or have done. I'm excited because I have NO IDEA where it's going. That's right, but I know there is a Holy and Righteous God who loves me enough that He sent His son, Jesus, to die so that I may live! And I'm excited because I can trust my future with Him....WOW!!!!

He told me in His Word that He has plans to prosper me and not to harm me.... and this promise is available to all who believe in Him.

So get Tired!!!! Get exhausted,,,, and trust your unknown future to a known God!!!!!

The Re:EXPERIENCE is a chance for folks to experience on-going Worship!

As I lead in Worship at our Sawgrass Campus I am often encountered by folks who are really moved to worship but only experience it while they're at church. They long for something to connect with through the week.

I wanted to allow them to re-connect with the experience they had with us while they were at FRC. A chance to remind them what it was like with a room full of God Followers worshiping our One True God. A way to be encouraged and uplifted as they do life! To be encouraged by songs of praise with voices and arrangements they had already experienced. A familiar sound, a familiar new Praise!... a chance to Re:Experience what God is doing in our lives!!!!!

Let's seek God to move us more into a genuine faith... a real commitment to what is right and just. May our lives be on display for the world to see that what we have is real, and true, and life-giving. May Christ continually re-align our priorities, so His name will be lifted up....

Braised Ribs

I thought I would throw a culinary term in for those of you who care... after all,,, Jackie H is about to inherit a large sum of School Loans.... it's the least I can do for her... Man I love her!!!!!!! I am officially the Luckiest Man Alive:)..seriously!!!!


Any way, as I braise(the best way to cook tough meat) some Beef Short Ribs, I thought I would throw you a bone...:)

Here it is:

"Braise": pronounced(BRAYZ)- A cooking method by which food is first browned, then cooked, tightly covered, in a small amount of liquid at low heat for a lengthy period of time.The long, slow cooking develops flavor and tenderizes foods by gently breaking down their fibers. A tight fitting lid is very important to prevent the liquid from evaporating.

Guys and girls, trust me when I say this... it is well worth the wait. You can turn a $5 cut of cow into a tender, juicy, flavor-filled delight. Plan for 2 hours of cooking and you will be set!!!!!

For those of you who have thought "Tea Collections" were for sissy's.. here's a picture of what I was doing Yesterday! That's right... Building a case for the Sawgrass Percussion Equipment. Yep. Good Old, hard core Man stuff! Saws, Drills and Tape Measures... just like my Father has done for most of his life.

You may call it building something, I call it a Tribute. A tribute to the work force that keep this country proud and strong. Carpenters, electricians, plumbers, masoners and architects; just like my dad, and his dad. Hard working good ole boys whose handshake meant more than any contract you'd ever sign.

Here's to you gentlemen! A toast for generations to come. May they see the value in hard work, dedication and true leadership.

FREEDOM!!!!

What a great time to celebrate freedom! It was awesome today at Sawgrass just worshipping together and honoring those that have come before us and those that will go after us. Long when we are gone, I pray that our legacy will be changing lives for Christ.

What a great life to live in a country where we can get great coffee and amazing Bible resources all in the same place, and have people smile at us. Not everyone, everywhere can do that. Some men give there days wage for one page of scripture. Some will lose loved ones trying to save souls. So let's rejoice for what God has given us, and let's pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ who struggle with political and spiritual persecution.

May their ambition and desire to know God motivate us to be great in Him.

Extreme Measures!!!!!

Extreme times call for Extreme Measures!!!! In all my experiences leading worship, there has never been anything quite like this... hundreds of kids, lifting their voices and declaring "How Great Is Our God"...

To look out and see/hear them is a true gem. It has been awesome this week as Day 3 comes to a conclusion. Tomorrow is our last night and we are pumped!!!! Thank you Dennis, Ray, Cat, Brit, Heredes, Javin and the Praise Kidz. It has been a blast and I know we are all making a difference:)
